THE TERRA UNA ECO-VILLAGE The headquarters of the NGO, the TERRA UNA eco-village and Educational Centre, is located in the midst of nature, on a 48 hectare property inside the Area of Environmental Protection (APA) of the Mantiqueira Mountains, in the municipality of Liberdade, state of Minas Gerais. Integrating living, work, education, and leisure, the Terra UNA Eco-Village is in the process of structuring it self as an trans-disciplinary Educational Center for rural-urban integration for a sustainable society. Here values and techniques that permeate our VISION, can be put into practice, thus giving an example of how to live more in a more sustainable way. |

In addition to members’ homes there is already a communal activity space, a warehouse for practical activities, rooms and dormitories for visitors, camping spaces, communal kitchen and dining area, music recording studio, vegetable gardens, nursery for trees, medium sized plantations, and agro forestry systems, as well as the natural beauty of the mountains, forests, rivers, and waterfalls. The eco-village receives people interested in participating in its activities during the SCHEDULED EVENTS, or at other times, if arrangements have been made in advance.
